• Windows OS users also have access to the following capabilities:
- Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS) - this is a selectable feature in Connection Manager that works seamlessly with hibernate mode, a common feature found on most notebooks. The device will not interrupt the hibernate mode and remains ready to connect once the system "wakes-up" (resumes). Also supports "auto-connect" resulting in faster connection time and intelligent data traffic routing.
- Users can take advantage of Sprint Location Services to conduct a "locate and search" inquiry. Using the GPS chipset embedded in the device, users can plot their current location on a map and then search for nearby points of interest such as gas stations, banks or restaurants. Users can also enter their own customer point of interest query.
• Macintosh OS X users should insert this device and follow the screens that pop-up to provide direction on installing the appropriate software.
